Hi all 

Great news, SportingConnections is now the fastest growing sports community site in the world and we are getting people signing up daily, hourly and sometimes by the minute. The site is going from strength to strength and I am getting wonderful feedback from users who are using the teams pages to run their teams and organise training sessions, people who are finding training partners and, best of all, from the users in my teams.

 I have started a kitesurfing group that is now 13 users strong and we are using the site to plan kite sessions, get togethers and lessons. I also run my cricket team through the site and let them know batting and bowling lineups in time for the weekend. Having looked through the teams I see that there are other equally successful teams out there and as people start to use the functionality of the team message board to stay in touch, they are realising that it is no longer necessary to make 15 phone calls  to get a group together; they can easily put a post on the message board and automatically contact everyone to let them know what is going on.

We also have over  200 events registered on our events pages, ranging from Kitesurfing to Cycling, Triathlons and Marathons from around the world. The calendar is currently the largest event calendar of it's kind and with the ability to search for events within a certain distance of your postcode, it couldn't be easier to find things to do within driving distance of where you live.
