A fantastic new Sports Event Calendar has been added to SportingConnections this week.

As a member you are able to add events that can range from a social touch football game being organised in the local park on Saturday (All Welcome, to events such as the world famous Mooloolaba triathlon. You also have the option, if you own a company that regularly runs sports events, to register your company and receive a company page to manage all your events.

Two major sports events companies have already signed up (USM Events (Austrailia) and Detail Events (UK)) with several more companies looking to join up and get their own company page.  The latest 4 events added are shown on the home page but if you click the Events link on the top tool bar you will find a listing of all our events so far and also be able to read more about each company.

The Event Calendar is unique amongst website sport event Calendars in that it allows you to search for events within a certain distance of the location that you enter when you create your profile. This allows a much greater and more relevant search function than any other Sports Events sites that we have found. You are, of course, also able to search by Date, Sport, Country and City as well as by distance from where you live.
