Within 3 weeks SportingConnections has reached the 700 user mark and is still growing steadily. We have users on the team from all around the world including America, India, Hong Kong, Phillipines, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

The global community is growing and before you head off anywhere, be it a new town or a holiday in a different country, make sure you do a quick search for other sports men and women in the are you are heading.

On a personal note, my cycling team has grown through the site already with 3 new cyclists joining us in the last two weeks and my cricket team is now managed through the site;  we have found another great  batsmen to join our Saturday sojourns into the world of cricket.

Next week we are expecting to see a new events component added to the site and in the following weeks your very own chalkboard where people can leave messages on your profile page.
