In order to add other SportingConnections members to you "Sports Friends" area, you will need to the following:

Find the users profile by using one of the numerous search functions on the search page: http://sportingconnections.com/component/option,com_profile/task,search/Itemid,3/

When a list of members is returned by the search function you will need to click on the member's picture or "Username" to view that members profile.

Once you are viewing that members profile you will find a link on the members profile page that says [Add to friends].

This will automatically email the member and he/she will then have the choice of adding you to their friends list.
