Oldies v the youngsters by Con 2 Months, 4 Weeks ago Went down to my local park yesterday and was amazed to see youngsters on the Lawn Bowls Green. White hats, white butchers overalls were nowhere to be seen - just "cool" looking oldies playing in a tournament against 6th Formers from the local schools. Might take it up myself! It looks fun, unfortunately since moving to australia none of my friends have wanted to go play... except once when we had time booked, but there was a crazy thunder storm that day! Anyone out there keen to play or give it a try in the brisbane area... let me know.
