Thanks to an amazing surgeon and less damage than he thought initially, I am back on my bike after 9 days!!! I swam for about 40 mins and proved to myself what I already knew - I am soo unfit right now, time to get serious. No excuses, living in Cape Town with so many options on where to swim and in never ending sunshine. Wake up call time!
