32nd Annual race includes marathon, half marathon, 10K and 2 mile fun run/walk.
This out and back course is considered one of the most challenging in the United States. Starting at 5280 feet, the elevation increases to 7000 feet over the first 7 miles, then down to 5600 feet at the 13 mile turnaround. The course is paved for the first and last 5 miles, while the rest is run on Forest Service dirt road in the cool pines offering panoramic views of Northern AZ peaks. The 10K is a loop course.
Proceeds from the race go directly into the scholarship fund at the Prescott YMCA to assist children and families in financial need.
